You will join a large-scale public-sector digitalisation programme aimed at building a digital-by-default case management platform. The platform consists of multiple interconnected modules that support end-to-end processes, data exchange with internal and external partners, and integration with a broader application landscape.
You will work in an Agile delivery context on business-critical applications with strong requirements around traceability, quality, and interoperability. The environment is complex, evolving, and highly impactful, which makes structure, code quality, and collaboration essential As a Frontend Software Engineer, you contribute to the development and evolution of a modern, modular web application landscape. You focus on building robust, maintainable user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with backend services and other platform components.
What you’ll do
- You develop and maintain high-quality frontend code for business-critical web applications.
- You implement new features and integrate UI components into existing applications.
- You actively test your work and contribute to overall application quality.
- You analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend-related issues and bugs.
- You upgrade and refactor existing frontend components when needed.
- You document delivered functionality and technical choices clearly and consistently.
- You collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team, participating in ceremonies and continuous improvement.
- You use modern development tooling and CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliably.
- You leverage AI-assisted development tools where relevant to improve productivity and quality.
What are we looking for?
- You have solid experience in frontend development, preferably in complex or enterprise environments.
- You have hands-on experience with Angular or a similar modern frontend framework.
- You are comfortable working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- You have experience working with CI/CD tooling, such as Azure DevOps or equivalent.
- You understand the importance of code quality, testing, and documentation.
- You are familiar with integrating frontend components with backend services.
- You are comfortable working in a structured, regulated environment where traceability matters.
- You actively use or are open to using AI tools to support software development.
- You communicate fluently in English and have an active knowledge of Dutch or French.
