Job Description:
- One of the profiles we are looking for is a front-end developer/engineer, expert level (10+ years of experience), specializing in Angular 2+. Website development is not considered relevant experience, while web portal or online store development is. If you are a full-stack developer, you have experience in the Java programming language with at least 2 years of experience with Java SE10+ (required) and you have completed at least 6 years of full-time front-end development within the last 10 years (required).

- A degree in computer science, from higher education of short or long type, obtained in a higher education institution or a university recognized in the European Union, is mandatory (the degree must be presented with the CV on the pro unity platform),
- To continuously update oneself to stay abreast of the latest trends in sustainable innovation, in the IT field,
- 10 years of practical experience with front-end application development,
- 5 years of practical experience with front-end application development in the cloud (cloud native),
- 5 years of practical experience with the Angular 2+ framework,
- 5 years of practical experience in single-page application development,
- 5 years of practical experience in defining and developing APIs, as well as consuming/integrating APIs in the front end.
- 5 years of practical experience in developing web portals based on web portal technology or via the Angular 2+ framework.
- 5 years of experience as a front-end architect (design and architecture of front-end solutions)
- 3 years of practical experience in the development and optimization of library components for a Design System,
- 3 years of practical experience in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, preferably within Azure DevOps,
- 5 years of experience working (together) within agile delivery teams,
- Knowledge and practical use of JAVA SE10+ is an advantage,
- Knowledge of Event Driven and/or Behavioral Driven Development is an advantage,
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design is an advantage,
- Knowledge of pre-existing modules and services in the context of the federal government is an asset.
- Ability to propose alternative solutions and formulate recommendations on the choices to be made, taking into account the entire context,
- Good listening skills, a flexible attitude, and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
I. Languages
- Due to the nature of the tasks and the clientele (bilingual working environment), as well as our internal working methods, a good knowledge of English and a good knowledge of Dutch or French is required.
II. The tasks
As an experienced front-end engineer/developer with expertise in the Angular framework and extensive experience in RESTful service integration, you are passionate about building modern and scalable web applications. Your skills will enable you to design and develop seamless, modern, and responsive user interfaces, leveraging the power of Angular and the capabilities of RESTful services.
- You are able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members to streamline the integration of microservices into the front-end and ensure a seamless user experience.
- You are capable of translating designs and wireframes into well-structured, semantic, and reusable documents. You know how to implement the latest front-end technologies and best practices, taking into account the capabilities and limitations of different browsers and devices.
- You are familiar with best practices in code structuring and front-end architecture optimization for a better user experience.
- You have a good understanding of API implementation, data stream processing, and state management within the application.
- You keep yourself constantly informed of the latest developments,
- Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges and propose effective solutions,
- You enjoy working in a team and know how to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in order to fully understand and meet the project's needs.
- Even if you work in a team, you are mature enough to work independently and proactively.
- You actively collaborate with UX/UI designers and other internal stakeholders, providing feedback on the feasibility of designs and data that can be used to further optimize graphic designs.
- You correctly estimate architecture and data models and discuss them with your colleagues and stakeholders.
