About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Fullstack Spring/Angular Developer for a high-impact, 12-month freelance assignment in Brussels. You’ll be at the heart of the "Electronic Payment Comparator" project, building a web application that empowers merchants to make informed, independent decisions about payment solutions. This is your chance to shape a platform that brings transparency and innovation to the payments ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing

Designing and developing robust, scalable web applications using Angular for the frontend and Spring Boot for the backend
Building intuitive interfaces for merchants to compare payment options and for providers to manage their offerings
Implementing RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data flow and integration
Collaborating with a cross-functional team of elite builders to deliver high-quality, maintainable code
Applying best practices in version control (GIT), code quality, and agile development
Translating complex business requirements into technical solutions that drive real-world impact
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the VECTOR7™ Signal Stack vetting process

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in fullstack development with Angular (confirmed) and Java (confirmed)
Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot (junior to confirmed level)
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
Working knowledge of .Net, Javascript, GIT, JIRA, and UML (junior to confirmed levels as specified)
Builder mindset: ownership, initiative, and a passion for solving complex problems
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment
Experience working in agile teams and delivering impactful solutions
