About the Role
We’re seeking a Full Stack Developer (Angular / Go) to join our client’s IT team in Brussels on a freelance basis for an initial 6-month mission, with the possibility of extension. You’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating the development and stabilization of high-value internal web applications that drive operational excellence in the European B2B food distribution sector. As a builder, you’ll help solve complex challenges, ensuring robust, secure, and future-ready digital platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications using Angular 19 and Go (1.23.x).
- Building responsive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS and TypeScript, ensuring maintainable and scalable code.
- Developing RESTful APIs with Go, leveraging Gin (with CORS middleware), GORM, and PostgreSQL.
- Integrating with Microsoft Azure Identity and Microsoft Graph SDK for secure authentication and data access.
- Writing and maintaining scripts and automations in PowerShell as needed.
- Designing and evolving PostgreSQL database schemas, optimizing queries for performance and reliability.
- Deploying applications on Linux (Debian) environments, configuring NGINX as a reverse proxy.
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Working in partnership with IT Support and managed service providers (no direct production access).
- Ensuring code quality through Git (Bitbucket), branch workflows, code reviews, and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Adhering to internal security, compliance, and quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Full Stack development.
- Expertise in Angular and TypeScript for front-end development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Go for building REST APIs.
- Solid command of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Professional use of Git for version control and collaboration.
- Comfortable working in Linux-based environments.
- Autonomous, reliable, and able to quickly become operational within a structured team.
- Ability to understand business challenges and propose pragmatic, high-impact solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working within documented processes and high-quality standards.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with GORM ORM for Go.
- Knowledge of NGINX in application environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft integrations (Azure AD, Microsoft Graph).
- Sensitivity to secure and structured IT environments
Language Proficiency
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Fluency in French is mandatory (spoken and written).

- Freelance contract, 6 months with potential for renewal.
