UI Developer (Frontend – Angular)

Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a UI Developer (Frontend – Angular) on behalf of our client in New York, NY. This role involves building and enhancing modern, enterprise-scale web applications that support data-intensive platforms within the financial services environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and reactive programming, along with experience developing scalable, high-performance front-end applications. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, architects, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive and efficient user interfaces for complex business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, modular Angular applications following best practices for performance, maintainability, and testability.
- Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS frameworks.
- Implement reactive programming patterns using RxJS and modern Angular features.
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product owners, and backend developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and code reviews.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and modern development tooling.
- Contribute to improvements in front-end architecture, development standards, and CI/CD practices.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in frontend development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience developing front-end web applications.
- Strong experience with Angular (modern versions preferred).
- Proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building enterprise-scale web applications.
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture, modular design, and state management patterns.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth2 or OIDC.
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile, cross-functional development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Nx monorepo architecture or modern build tools.
- Experience with Angular Signals or server-side rendering frameworks.
- Exposure to backend technologies such as Node.js or enterprise API platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools.
