About the Role
Our client is seeking a Junior Developer to join their Digitalization and Organization division, supporting the Shima team for a 7-month freelance mission in Brussels (Schaerbeek). This is your opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of agriculture and fisheries, building and enhancing applications that directly impact the execution of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). You’ll be part of a team that shapes the backbone of critical processes, ensuring technology empowers real-world outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing new and existing functionalities for web applications and components within the Shima portfolio
- Translating functional specifications into robust technical designs
- Collaborating with fellow developers and reporting to the project manager
- Supporting other IT teams in integrating Shima components into their applications
- Ensuring technical solutions align with established architecture, standards, and frameworks
- Working transparently and communicating openly within a collaborative team environment
Technical Skills
- Demonstrable experience in developing .NET-based applications (C#), with at least 12 months of hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of .NET Core and ASP.NET
- Proficiency with Angular 20 or higher
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of EF Core
- Understanding of webAPI development
- Familiarity with NGRX (preferred)
- Knowledge of CQRS (preferred)
- Experience with Github Copilot (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Agile development methodology
- Experience with Scrum (preferred)
Language Proficiency
- Dutch language proficiency at European CEFR - level C2 is required
Other Requirements
