Position: Angular Developer / FHIR API Lead
Location: Hybrid Baltimore, MD (40% onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
We are looking for an experienced Angular Developer with strong expertise in healthcare interoperability, FHIR/HL7 integrations, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable API integrations, developing enterprise applications, and supporting cloud-based healthcare data exchange solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level web applications and integration solutions
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and FHIR-based healthcare integration solutions
- Build scalable Angular front-end applications and reusable UI components
- Work with HL7, FHIR, JSON, XML, SOAP/REST APIs, and healthcare interoperability standards
- Develop secure and high-performance application integration architectures
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams on enterprise integration strategies
- Participate in CI/CD automation using Git, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies
- Support application troubleshooting, enhancements, and production deployments
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices
Required Skills
- 7+ years of IT/Application Development experience
- Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with FHIR, HL7, and healthcare interoperability standards
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
- Experience with AWS cloud services and integration platforms
- Experience with SOAP/REST services, JSON, XML, and API integrations
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare systems and interoperability projects
- Experience with Mulesoft or enterprise service bus technologies
- Exposure to API security and networking concepts
- Experience mentoring technical teams
- Master s degree preferred
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.
