About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Angular Developer to join their high-impact development team in Brussels on a freelance basis for a 4-month project. You’ll step in as the primary front-end force, taking ownership of the Angular codebase and driving the next phase of product evolution. As the dedicated front-end expert, you’ll ensure seamless continuity as the current front-end developer transitions to backend responsibilities (remaining available for coaching and support). What You’ll Be Doing
- Take full ownership of the front-end, driving development with Angular (version 21) and TypeScript
- Process and review merge requests, ensuring robust code quality and maintainability
- Collaborate closely with backend and coaching resources to deliver seamless, high-performing features
- Champion best practices in front-end architecture, testing, and performance optimization
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and builder-driven innovation
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Angular, including recent work with Angular 21
- Proven ability to independently own and deliver complex front-end solutions
- Strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for building products that matter
- Experience processing merge requests and maintaining high code quality standards
- Ownership mentality: you thrive when given responsibility and autonomy
- Collaborative spirit, open to coaching and knowledge sharing
Technical Skills
- Angular & TypeScript (Confirmed, expert level)
- HTML/CSS (Confirmed)
- REST Services (Confirmed)
- Springboot (Optional, a plus)
Language Proficiency
- Professional proficiency in English required
- French or Dutch is a plus
Other Requirements
- Partial remote work available; on-site presence in Brussels required as per project needs
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is advantageous
- Freelance contract for 4 months
