Department of Interior modernizations of the DARTS application, including data and database migration, new web-based front-end design and development, use of user roles to drive front end features, incorporation of AI/LLM technology for searching documents. The project intends to streamline front-end processes for the user and improve back-end performance.
Primary Job Duties
- Duty: Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc) (60%)
- Duty: UI/UX implementation/ human centered design (20 %)
- Duty: Compatibility, Access, and 508 Compliance (10 %)
- Duty: Testing, Maintenance, Version Control (10 %)
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of React, Angular, Flutter
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices and responsive design principles.
- Experience with version control (Git), build tools, and preprocessors
Preferred Skills
- 508 Compliance Design and Testing
- Scrum/Agile project experience
- Customer collaboration experience and team-oriented communication
