Job Description
We are looking for a driven Front-End Angular Developer to strengthen the Sipar team.
Sipar is maintained and further developed by a dedicated Scrum team working closely with AJH and the justice houses. The 2026 roadmap is well-defined and ambitious, including functional enhancements as well as essential technical upgrades to keep the platform secure, modern, and future-proof. The application integrates with multiple systems within AJH, as well as Flemish and federal government platforms.
The team works in a hybrid setup: partly remote, partly from our offices in Mechelen, and partly from the AJH offices in Brussels-North.
- Maintain and further develop our Angular front-end application;
- Collaborate within an international Agile team;
- Implement user stories end-to-end — from concept to production — with strong attention to quality, performance, and maintainability;
- Provide estimates for simple to moderately complex project work
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the application and development practices;
Your Profile
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Angular developer;Strong understanding of Angular concepts (components, modules, services, RxJS, routing, state management, etc.) — beyond just hands-on usage;Experience designing and implementing robust, scalable Angular applications;Solid experience with Git, testing tools, Jira, and ConfluenceExperience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP);Full-stack knowledge (Java) is a plus, but front-end expertise is the primary focus;Languages:
- Dutch (CEFR level C2 – European Dutch);
- English (professional working proficiency);
- A meaningful project within the public sector, contributing to justice and enforcement services;
- A stable, long-term engagement (minimum 1 year, extension possible);
- A mature Agile environment with a strong 2026 roadmap
- Hybrid working model;
- Peer coaching and knowledge sharing within the team.
