Summary
This UI Developer will collaborate with UX and graphic designers to deliver visually appealing web solutions that adhere to 508 Compliance Standards and standardized design systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners and customers to develop innovative solutions that achieve business goals.
- Work on a multidisciplinary team with full-stack developers.
- Apply software engineering principles to the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of multiple web-based applications.
- Create unit and automation tests as part of continuous development.
- Test new features across browsers.
- Conduct peer code review, provide recommendations, and work with peers to improve software coding practices.
- Fix bugs during the QA and UAT phases of releases.
- Provide coaching and education, advocating for best practices in front-end development.
- Work on API infrastructure, development, and associated tools and best practices.
- Provide on-call support, troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and manage incidents and service requests for supported products and environments.
Requirements
- 6+ years of UI development experience.
- Proficiency with Java, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Senior-level experience with Angular.
- Exceptional attention to detail; someone who takes pride in delivering consistently pixel-perfect work.
- Experience creating modern CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, Fortify, Sonar, etc.).
- Knowledge of AWS services and security best practices.
Preferred
- Expertise in creating components or their practical application within design systems (versus only having exposure to pattern libraries).
- Advanced experience with multiple programming languages (Java, Python, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of Cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, etc.) and the ability to learn new platforms.
- Experience with centralized application observability and monitoring across disparate tools and services.
- Experience with Cloud networking across numerous accounts, environments, and vendors, applying zero trust principles.
- Experienced in using Terraform to deploy AWS Cloud services and infrastructure.
