We’re looking for a Front-end Developer to support our client in building a modern and scalable web portal.
You will help shape a user-friendly interface that connects multiple complex systems into a seamless experience. Working closely with back-end developers and designers, you will contribute to high-quality, performant and accessible front-end solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user-facing components using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Ensure responsive design, accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility
- Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows
- Collaborate with design, architecture and back-end teams
- Participate in code reviews, testing activities and continuous improvement
- Work according to agile and Git-based workflows
Key Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in front-end or full-stack web development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS) and JavaScript ES6+
- Practical experience with React and Vue.js
- Familiarity with TypeScript and component-based architectures
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON and asynchronous logic
- Good understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards
- Experience with Git and agile methodologies
- Nice-to-have skills:
- Next.js, Redux, React Query
- OAuth2, SSO, JWT
- Integrations with CMS, CRM or enterprise systems
- CI/CD and Azure cloud components
- Portal frameworks or multi-tenant architectures
- Automated testing
- Angular, Blazor, SQL, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Container Apps
- Microsoft Graph API and MS Clarity
Practical information
- Languages: English is required. Dutch is preferred.
- Location & Work Setup: The assignment takes place in Leuven (must have!) with a hybrid working arrangement (partly onsite, partly remote).
