Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in travel and entertainment, is seeking a UI Developer (Angular) for a long-term contract role supporting a high-impact digital guest experience initiative. This opportunity involves working on a major digital platform focused on enhancing booking and planning experiences for cruise guests.
You will be part of a fast-growing team building out critical guest-facing features as the project moves into its final delivery phase.

Experience of the right candidate:
- Expertise in Angular 18 and modern Angular development practices.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and RxJS.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of application architecture and frontend/backend integrations.
- Comfortable contributing to both new development (75–80%) and sustainment (20–25%).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with NestJS or similar Node-based backend frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with offshore and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Background in travel, booking, or reservation systems is a plus.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable UI applications using Angular 18.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, product owners, and offshore teams.
- Deliver performant and seamless guest-facing and internal-facing booking features.
- Contribute to UI-heavy studios focused on cruise planning and reservations.
- Support both greenfield development and ongoing application sustainment.
- Drive quality and consistency across the frontend architecture.
