We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. Workplace is at home with some days in the office around the Brussels North Train station.
Responsibilities
- Delivering assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of an application development project. Tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications; performing configuration and testing activities
- You will be working under supervision from the Technical lead/Project Manager to accomplish assigned tasks. You will be working in tandem with the Technical lead as the Lead front-end developer and also contribute work on the back-end
- Job duties will include design, development and testing
- Help maintain a rigorous software build and testing framework for continuous building and testing the developed software and keep track of failed builds or build issues
- Prepare software technical documentation based on functional documentation and specifications, taking into account any specified functional and technical requirements (JIRA/Confluence)
- You will be part of a fast growing and exciting division whose culture is entrepreneurial, professional, rooted in teamwork and innovation
- You will participate as part of a team and maintain good relationships with team members and customers
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holder in applied computer sciences, applied informatics or a related field
- At least 4 years of professional working experience with Java/Angular application full-stack development technologies and tools with a strong affinity with the front-end aspects
- Proven experience with Angular for front-end development with the ability to lead and mentor more junior frontend developers
- Experience with designing & developing of applications using modern open source technologies. More specifically Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, Typescript, IntelliJ, Maven, Git, HTML & CSS
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Experience in the creation of technical designs and in leading technical designers
- Understanding of event-driven architectures
- Proven track record of working in Agile development environments
- Language requirements: fluent in Dutch (oral and written) and English
