RegScale is a continuous controls monitoring (CCM) platform designed to deliver efficient GRC outcomes by bridging security, risk, and compliance through controls lifecycle management. The Principal Angular Developer will play a critical role in designing and architecting the front-end of the core Angular application. Responsibilities include leading development and optimization of large scale Angular applications, performance optimization, front-end architecture design, security hardening, automated testing, working with UX designers, APIs (REST and GraphQL), Angular version upgrades, and modern HTML/CSS development. The role involves hands-on development, collaborating with designers, QA, security, and DevOps teams, troubleshooting, training developers, and working in a fast-paced startup environment. Candidates must be US Citizens, subject to background checks and drug testing, and willing to travel to Knoxville, TN up to 6 times per year if remote. Required skills include extensive Angular experience, leadership in software projects, familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies, and secure software development knowledge. Education requirements are a Bachelor’s degree with 15 years experience or a Master’s degree with 12 years experience, with at least 5 years hands-on Angular expertise. Strong communication skills and experience with SaaS companies and startups are preferred.
