Key Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery phase by mapping customer journeys, workflows, and end-to-end experiences.
- Conduct usability research, interviews, and workshops to integrate customer feedback into design.
- Create service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
- Apply design thinking methodologies to define and solve user problems.
- Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products.
- Define and apply visual styles, typography, and interaction patterns.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
- Translate UI/UX designs into functional front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of developed UI components.
- Optimize UI performance and accessibility while adhering to modern web standards.
- Iterate on UI using customer feedback, usability data, and performance metrics.
- Partner with product managers and engineers in an agile development environment.
- Present and communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Participate in design critiques and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer with front-end development experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX research/discovery, UI execution, and implemented front-end work.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and one or more modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-platform optimization.
- Skilled in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and design systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in agile product teams with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and justify design and development decisions.
- Bonus: Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, or exposure to backend APIs.
