We are looking for a Senior Digital Designer (UX/UI) to support the digital experience team of our client. You will collaborate with UX researchers, information architects, and front-end developers to create consistent, accessible, and visually strong digital experiences across web and application platforms.
- Location: Ghent – hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days remote).
- Workload: 80%.
- Duration: 1 year (renewable)
What are your responsibilities?
- Design user-friendly and pixel-perfect interfaces for web and applications.
- Translate research insights into wireframes, prototypes, and detailed Figma specifications.
- Build, maintain, and evolve a design system (component library + pattern guide).
- Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Support responsive and adaptive design across devices and screen sizes.
- Work closely with front-end developers (Angular or similar) to ensure feasibility.
What profile is our client looking for?
- 5+ years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer and Visual Designer.
- Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2), fluent communication in multidisciplinary teams.
- Expert-level skills in Figma (component libraries, design systems).
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript implementation is a plus.
- Knowledge of UX research, usability standards, and workshop facilitation.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in large/enterprise environments with diverse stakeholders.
